It's crazy to me how many events surround Halloween! It seems like there's more to attend every year! We never hit all of them, who could? The kids always love what we do decide to attend, so no complaints here! Between trunk-o-treats, school carnivals, family parties, carving pumpkins, trick-o-treating, I think we got more than enough candy. The kids have even forgotten about their candy for a couple days at a time, which makes it last a little longer and the sugar highs a little more controllable! We had a lot of fun and Hallie said here favorite part was running from house to house and knocking on the doors. The kids kept saying, "One more house. One more house!"
Gavin trying to get that donut off the string! It was so funny! He just stood there with his mouth open wide waiting for that donut to get in there. Eventually he got it all!
"Woody" and "Barbie Fairy Princess"
They can be such good buddies!
Carving pumpkins...
...and painting pumpkins.
Family get together
The result of the sugar...funny, goofy kiddos!
Don't forget the face painting.
These are the pumpkins we carved. We had to set them up inside and light them inside thanks to that wonderful Idaho wind that showed up for Halloween. They all turned out very cool!
It was a lot of fun to take Hallie to her school carnival. It brought back a lot of memories of just being a kid. She was so excited to show us her class and her teacher, even though I'm there once a week volunteering.
We had a great Halloween and we hope you all did too!
