This was the first time I'd ever traveled with a dog in the car. Snoop actually does really well in the car. He always wanted to find the sunniest spot in the car. He loves laying in sun spots! That must be one of the results of living in Nevada...you get use to being warm!
I think we extended summer a little longer for all the cousins in Idaho. Nobody wanted to go to school while we were there!
While in Idaho Falls, we made a quick trip to Rexburg to see how our old stomping grounds have changed. One of the first things we noticed is that you need a parking permit to park on just about any street in that town! It is growing and changing a lot. We also got our wedding rings cleaned and re-plated, so they look like new again! Chad was able to catch up with one of his professors, who has always encouraged and supported him!
Once in Wyoming, we filled our days with apple picking, 4-wheeling, horse riding, cousins, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, movies, great conversation, huckleberry shakes and fries, and Chad found time to go fishing with his dad and brother-in-law Matt. Chad successfully caught a fish and cooked it for me!
The kids loved picking apples! They fed them to the horse and the dogs loved playing fetch with the apples. So many uses for apples besides cooking them!
We LOVE visiting our families! They are the best! Thank you to everyone for making time to see us! We are so grateful for wonderful relationships and time that we get to have with them! Everyone is so nice to rearrange their schedules to see us, even though we don't expect that, we appreciate it! What a tremendous blessing family is!
