We all would love to go camping more often in the summer, but summer always fills up so quickly! I'm so glad we took off one weekend in August to forget about finding a job, schooling for Hallie, leave the cell phone and TV alone, and just play, visit, and eat yummy camping food!
We took off to Palisades and found a great spot for camping, boating, and playing in the lake. We agreed that we'd all return again! The kids loved playing with their cousins, swimming, catching bugs and running all over the place. Chad and I loved being outdoor, lots of adult conversation, great food, boating, and seeing two bald eagles and a golden eagle in the same tree. It was great!

The life-saver off all women and especially pregnant women while camping, the bathrooms. Don't worry, it was just an out-house. We do try to rough it a little bit! I kinda refuse to go camping without at least an out-house. My skills don't go beyond the out-house.!
The only regret was that it is never long enough! We love camping! Next summer we'll definitely shoot for a couple more camping trips!
