Before we took off to visit family during the month of June, we made a quick trip to Zion National Park. Another great thing about the Vegas area, is that you are only a few hours from many fun destinations! You're able to do some great weekend trips! We were only at the park for a couple of days, but it was so nice to be hiking and walking in such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Driving into the park, there was an ostrich farm. A bunch of them just running around and eating whatever they could find. We almost bought an ostrich egg, but we forgot!
We really enjoyed our quick little get-a-away! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a trail ride by horseback, but we weren't about to pay $40 for one hour, per person! Oh well, we just waited until we visited Wyoming to ride the grandparent's horse!
